Portuguese designer Daniel Dinis graduated from Lette-Verein vocational school, Berlin in 2004 and established his label in Frankurt-am-Main, Germany. This season's collection contains all the elements that put his name under the spotlight : handmade quality and leisurely clothing, keen attention to detail and fearlessness in the face of experimentation. His signature looks lay between sportswear and classic styles, with great emphasis on the rethinking of shapes and manufacturing processes. All his clothes are made in Germany by local manufacturers. Sustainability and recycling are a natural part of this particularly conscious and consequential designer. The collection was inspired by trips to Northern Morocco and Istanbul, Turkey. This is visible in the relaxed and fluid silhouettes that play with loose shapes and clean volumes. His proposals include structured surfaces, raw linen, basic and bright colors and eclectic patterns; the warmth of Summer and the natural feel of surroundings envelope Daniel Dinis’ pieces to create a collection that is a breath of fresh air and has garnered applause and left a trail of compliments in its wake.
