Citizen K International #57 (part 2)

The new Botox has arrived
Some were afraid of them, but botulinum toxin injections, supposed to relax muscles and face, are well ahead in the panorama of plastic medicine. The proof : since the beginning of the new millennium, no fewer than 10 million people have been treated -each year ! The number is high enough to open the market to competitors. So far, there was Vistabel, Allergan's Botox. Since last year, the molecule has had to face the arrival of Azzalure, the new solution by Galderma & Ipsen. At the tip of the needle : botulunum toxin type A. Except that global formulas are changing : less liquid in Azzalure's, therefore less water injected each time, less pressure on the forehead muscle and fewer headaches. Galderma & Ipsen's toxin reportedly settles in 3 days and stays in place for 4 to 5 months, as opposed to 7 to 10 days for Vistabel's that stays in place for 3 or 4 months. Differences that allow clients to save one session per year and the physician to work with more precision and subtlety. The first wrinkles will rather turn to Vistabel whereas more marked skins will be able to rely on Azzalure, which will also serve to work more precisely on small muscles...

The difference between a groomed man and his ungroomed equivalent is not his sexual preference or fetish. It is a fallacy that only men of a certain persuasion care about their appearance -all of us can, and should.
The real difference between the groomed and the ungroomed, the styled and the unstyled lies in your potential for success in life. When you look high maintenance, you feel better. When you feel your best, you exude confidence. When you are self-assured, you draw people to you. They open up to you more. They trust you more.
Sheer conjecture ? Not quite. Consider the fictious characters of Gordon Gekko and Patrick Bateman. Neither would have achieved the pre-comeuppance success they had enjoyed, had either of them been sloppily dressed and ungroomed. Think about it : there is a reason that we say that someone's being groomed for success ! Grooming is not just for vanity, it's for solid and practical reasons. And because you too are worth it.
