German designer Kilian Kerner was born and raised in Cologne in 1979. He studied drama in Cologne and Berlin between 2000 and 2003, until he discovered his passion for fashion in 2004. Entitled "was der himmel sagt" ('what the sky tells'), this is Kilian Kerner's tenth collection. It is about the moment of total clarity. A moment in which one uncompromisingly knows what's right and where one belongs. "When I arrived in Berlin seven years ago, I instantly knew something was waiting for me in this city", says the designer. The current collection offers a reduced basic line that lives of small demure details. Such as bicolor zippers and carefully used Edsor Kronen vintage fabrics. The classic double-breasted suit is reinterpreted next to basic pieces such as sweaters, trousers and shirts. Kilian Kerner offers the stylish man a mix of classic elements and urban design. The clarity of the cuts contrast with the soft fabrics such as silk and velour and is underlined by the muted color palette consisting mostly of black, gray and blue.
