The inspiration for this season's collection was the contemporary desert adventurer epitomized by Thomas Lawrence and Bruce Chatwin. The new traveller wears loose-fitting silhouettes that follow the body's movements with naturalness. Time and travels subdue colors, giving life to new details and hues. It's a new way of devising vintage effects, garments are used on the road, marked by memories and distances. Dusty effects for stone gray and sand tones, obtained with a special cold dyeing process, chase one another in the color palette. In this journey, safari jackets are the real style companions. Offered in large-woven linen, deconstructed and underlined by appliqués in vegetable leather with walnut root buttons, the jacket was cold dyed with spray finishing which gave it a dégradé color with infinite shades. Linen is proposed in natural tones with different types of weave and weight, treated with salt to give it a worn-out effect yet at the same time conveying consistence and structure to the fabric, it is often paired with dyed leather. Cottons with steel wefts are also in the collection, for a singular worn-out and creased effect; or super-light, yarn dyed and délavé. Knitwear is extra-light, proposed in 100% linen yarns, either natural or coarse, with details in leather and vintage effects. Shirts come in linen or cotton muslin with clean lines, true to Daniele Alessandrini's dressing codes.
