Davit Meursault

Japanese fictional designer Davit Meursault was inspired by nature for this season's collection entitled "Another view ?". Which explains the smorgasbord of floral prints and the color green, or more precisely, khaki that's got combined with camouflage as a side theme in sync with the MA-1 jacket of Swedish troops and the military signature of the label. Davit Meursault showcased an accomplished collection of vibrant and contemporary apparel for a sophisticated following. This so-called "other view" was a playful attempt at challenging notions of perception. On the one hand, the thousand guests at the rugby stadium had different experiences of the event depending on where they were sitting. On the other hand, the collection was also being shown live on the stadium's massive screen. The very clothing also played at multi-perspectives as, at first look, a camouflage suit quickly became floral-patterned at closer scrutiny. The blousons had different details on the left and right sides and both outerwear and bottoms were reversible. Clever, contemporary and cool, Davit Meursault took the catwalk experience into the 21st century -whoever he or she is.
