Used Future is a young South Korean brand founded in 2009 by Lee Dong In, then aged 26. He has already become a talent to watch. This urban whimsical funky label turns vintage clothes into neo-retro pieces that look casual and laid-back. The message is clear : "Man, your clothes are timeless !"... For his second collection, Don took inspiration from the movie "Deep end" (1970, restored in 2010), which is regarded as the best film by Polish director Jerzy Skolimowski. With Seventies London as a backdrop, the story perfectly sums up the essential themes in the young Asian designer's aesthetics, namely kitsch and popular culture. The hightlights of this new wardrobe are jackets, raincoats, cropped trenchcoats and many short shorts. The palette ranges from bright colors like lemon yellow, apricot and apple-green to beige or black. A Used Future brings London to Seoul !
